Background:

Mr. Orton joined DRG as Director of Program Management in 2017. The New York native spent 15 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. He spent 7 years enlisted, as a C-5 Crew Chief and Field Training Detachment (FTD) Instructor at Travis AFB, CA. While at the FTD he received is B.S. degree and pilot license and was accepted to Officer Training School and USAF Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT). Following UPT he served as an Aircraft Commander of the E-3 AWACS at Tinker AFB, OK. Mr. Orton was later selected to return to UPT as an Instructor Pilot on the T-6 Texan II. Mr. Orton is a combat veteran of Operations Phoenix Scorpion, Desert Fox, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Following his time in the USAF, he worked as a lead program manager with several major defense contractors, managing services, training and major system modifications on the C-5, KC-135 and B-1 programs.
